Louisville New Praise Festival 2020

We are excited to announce the 2020 dates for the Louisville New Praise Festival! The New Praise Festival is an event held all over the world that encourages children and youth to play artful and beautiful music in praise of God while also encouraging Parents to lead their families to worship together at home.
On April 25th, 2020 participants will perform one published praise music piece for a panel of expert judges and receive kind and encouraging feedback on their music skills. Then on May 3rd, 2020, qualifying students (Honorable Mention, Bronze, Silver, or Gold prize winners) will return to perform at the winners concert for their family, friends, and the public!
Participants who register before the early bird deadline this year are given an additional opportunity to perform at a free master class given by the festival's founder Dr. Johann Kim.
At http://newpraise.org/ various instrumental praise pieces can be downloaded for free. However, any published hymn arrangements can be performed.
It is the responsibility of all participants to read and understand competition guidelines. After completing the registration form below, registration fee and three copies of music score must be sent to:

Registration fee (nonrefundable): Solo $25/ Ensemble $45/ Choir (more than 10 members) $100
[Important Notice]
1) We may not allow more than 50 entries this year.
2) Only students who are age 18 or younger and enrolled in school as a Pre/K-12 student may participate.
3) If music is performed from memory student will be given additional points by judges.
