Experience The Power Of Prayer

At our church in Lyndon, KY, we believe that God listens to His people. So when you reach out to Lyndon Baptist Church for prayer, we take that request seriously. You can trust that when one of our church members says, “I’ll pray for you,” they’ve already started doing so! Being on our prayer list means knowing there are individuals who are asking God to remember you every single day.

Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” That’s a pretty powerful promise! And we believe it. That’s the spirit behind the prayer ministry of Lyndon Baptist Church. We believe God Himself is listening and is ready to care for you.

Get To Know Who Is Praying For You

Lyndon Baptist Church has an ever-evolving prayer list available to congregants. All you have to do to add yourself or a loved one to it is call us at 502-425-7150, contact us online, or email us. We never publish this list online or anywhere but our Sunday morning bulletin, and the only information included are the names of those we pray for and who requested them. We’re more than happy to exclude any information you would like in order to remain anonymous.

Throughout the week we have groups that gather at the church. Many are informal sessions during which church members pray together. On Wednesday nights we have an official church prayer meeting. You can talk about your own struggles or give details on any prayer requests you have. This is also a good time to ask for nonspecific prayer.

It can be intimidating to reach out to a new church for prayer. That’s why we offer so many different ways to send us your prayer requests. We’d like to pray with you if you feel comfortable, and if you’re not, we’ll always pray for you. Our contact form is anonymous; you can find it here.

Pray With A Church That Accepts You

What you have done and where you have been are not nearly as important as what God wants to do with you and where He wants to take you. The first step in learning those things is learning how to pray. Call us, email us, or contact us online to let us know you’ve never done this before. We’ll treat you to a free meal at the church, sit with you, and walk you through our prayer meeting. If you don’t feel ready to participate, that’s ok with us! We just want you here.

If you’re ready to experience a prayerful relationship with God, we’re ready to partner with you through it. Visit us on Sunday morning at 10:45 or Wednesday evening at 6:15.
